• What are you studying?

  Bachelor of Business/Journalism.

• Why did you choose to study in Brisbane?

  Brisbane is home sweet home!

• What is your favourite thing to do when you are not studying?

  When I’m not studying you’ll find me unleashing my inner warrior at the boxing studio down the road. It’s the best way to release any stress especially around exams and keeps you active. If I’m not there, you’ll find me hanging with my friends exploring the city and Southbank usually (always) getting food.

• Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

  This question is always so tricky! I’d like to be working in my own startup company after gaining experience at some big companies to get my feet off the ground into the business world.

• What is your favourite thing about being a student?

  Being a student is great because you get to meet new people every semester. Celebrating the end of exams is so much more fun when you’re surrounded by people who have gone through the same journey. While the late nights of study are often daunting, getting great results gives you a sense of achievement like no other.

• What is your favourite thing about Iglu?

  The best part about Iglu is the opportunity to meet new people every day. I also think it serves as a great stepping stone for moving out of home as you have support from staff and other people in the building who are in the same boat as you when it comes to learning how to cook and do laundry. When I first moved out of home, I had no clue how to do either of these things, people still question my cooking skills but I definitely think I’ve nailed the laundry aspect.
